1. General Considerations

At Michelle Acosta Templo, we are committed to transparency, integrity, and mutual respect. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing returns, cancellations, and refunds for products, services, and experiences offered through this website.

By completing a purchase, subscription, or booking, you agree to the terms described below.

2. Physical Products (Crystals, Jewellery, Incense)

  • Eligibility: Return or refund requests are accepted within 3 business days of delivery, exclusively if the item arrives damaged or defective.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all included accessories. We cannot accept returns for items damaged due to improper handling, neglect, or misuse after delivery.
  • Shipping Fees: Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable and remain the customer’s responsibility.
  • Processing: Once the returned product is received and inspected, approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 3 business days.

3. Retreats, Events, and In-Person Experiences

  • Booking Deposit: To secure your place, an initial deposit is required upon registration. This deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • Cancellations by the Participant:
    • 20 calendar days or more prior to the event start date: You may request a refund of any balance paid, excluding the non-refundable initial deposit. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of written notice.
    • Fewer than 20 calendar days prior to the event start date: All payments are fully forfeited; no refunds or credits will be granted.
  • Cancellations by the Organisation: If an event or retreat is cancelled by Michelle Acosta Templo, participants will receive a 100% full refund of all amounts paid (including the initial deposit) or may elect to transfer their credit to a future date or offering.

4. Individual Sessions and 1-on-1 Mentoring

  • 48 hours or more in advance: You may request a full refund or reschedule your session at no additional cost.
  • Less than 48 hours in advance: Sessions cancelled, missed, or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

5. Digital Products and Downloadable Content

All digital sales—including downloadable guides, audio recordings, recorded meditations, digital workshops, and online courses—are final and strictly non-refundable once access credentials or download links have been delivered.

6. Subscriptions and Community Memberships (AARU)

  • Cancellation: Memberships may be cancelled at any time through your account settings or by notifying us prior to your next renewal date to prevent future recurring charges.
  • No Prorated Refunds: Membership dues already processed for an active billing cycle are non-refundable, regardless of attendance or platform usage.
  • Termination: Access may be revoked immediately and without reimbursement in the event of a breach of our community guidelines or codes of conduct.

7. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)

Michelle Acosta Templo reserves the right to evaluate, on an individual basis, requests for credit transfers arising from documented force majeure events (e.g., severe illness or official travel restrictions). Any adjustments remain at our sole discretion.
